Dr. Elizabeth Oetting joined the practice in May, 2007. Liz graduated from the University of Missouri. Liz and her husband, Andy, a local farmer, have a daughter and a son and live on the family farm.
Dr. Gatz Graf joined the practice in May, 2013. Gatz graduated from Oklahoma State University and had previously practiced in Kansas. Gatz and his wife, Megan, have one son and enjoy living in the country.
Dr. Sarah Meineka joined the practice in May, 2016, and graduated from the University of Missouri. Sarah is married to Brad, a local farmer, and they have one daughter.
Katie Finley earned her B.S. degree in Ag Business from the University of Central Missouri and is also a graduate of the vet tech program at Maple Woods Community College. She enjoys raising and showing hogs and working with her collies. Katie and her husband, Josh, live in Concordia and have one son.
Jennifer Boynton stops in a few afternoons a week to help with the cleaning; we can thank her for the shiny, clean windows. Jennifer has three children and lives near Emma.
Debbie Deke works three days a week answering the phone and helping at the front desk. Debbie and husband Tom live in Concordia, and they have two children and seven grandchildren.
Kaitlin Gieseke works as a veterinary assistant and is a graduate of University of Central Missouri with a Animal Science degree. Kaitlin lives on the family farm near Houstonia where she continues to breed and show swine.
Lyman Anderson helps with kennels and extra maintenance projects. Lyman retired from General Motors as an electrician. Lyman is married to Darla; they have two sons and four grandchildren.
Dr. Jon Schroeder moved to Concordia, Missouri, after graduating from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 1975. Dr. Schroeder practiced with Dr. Dale Bivin for one year. In 1976, he purchased the practice and building from Dr. Bivin and renamed it Concordia Veterinary Clinic. In 1998, Dr. Schroeder and his wife, Karen, designed and built the current clinic, which is located just north of Concordia on Highway 23. In 2017, the Schroeder's retired and sold the clinic to Dr. Paul and Rhonda Smith. Dr. Smith originally worked at the clinic after graduation from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 until the summer of 2007. From 2007 thru 2016, Dr. Smith taught biology and veterinary technology courses at Maple Woods Community College and then spent one year as a technical services veterinarian for a swine animal health company. Rhonda is an Occupational Therapist and provides services to several local school districts.
